Featuring a classic tonewood pairing, the Next Generation Custom Builder’s Edition 814ce delivers a truly distinctive acoustic voice and an exceptional playing experience. This expertly crafted Grand Auditorium combines an Adirondack spruce top with East Indian Rosewood back and sides. The result is a powerful, well-balanced tone with deep, authoritative lows, clear and lively highs, and gently scooped mids, enhanced by Scalloped V-Class bracing and the dynamic headroom of Adirondack spruce.
Designed with comfort and precision in mind, this model includes chamfered body edges, a beveled armrest with a matching cutaway, and ultra-smooth Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold. Visually, the guitar is appointed to highlight the classic, deep, brown and reddish grained rosewood. Elegant details include an ebony Curve Wing bridge, smoky ebony fretboard, abalone rosette with rosewood/maple/black purfling, Element fretboard and peghead inlays, coordinating top-edge trim, a full-gloss finish, and a Kona Edgeburst on the back and sides with a natural Adirondack top.
Additional premium features include Gotoh 510 tuning machines with an ultra-precise 18:1 gear ratio, elegant Element fretboard inlays in shell and mother-of-pearl, and a high-gloss finish with a shaded edgeburst treatment on back and sides.
