The combination of Honduran Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce gives this C10e the ingredients for a powerful, open, and highly dynamic dreadnought. The low end is especially noteworthy—big, warm, and prominent without sacrificing the clarity and complexity that make a fine rosewood guitar so rewarding to play.
The Adirondack Spruce top provides excellent dynamic range and headroom, making this guitar equally appealing to players who prefer a light, nuanced touch and those who like to dig in with a pick. Taylor’s forward-shifted, scalloped X-bracing further contributes to its open, resonant character.
