This expertly crafted Grand Auditorium combines an Adirondack spruce top with striking Macassar ebony back and sides, an Indonesian hardwood prized for its ability to respond beautifully to a player’s individual touch. The result is a powerful, well-balanced tone with deep, authoritative lows, clear and lively highs, and gently scooped mids, enhanced by Scalloped V-Class bracing and the dynamic headroom of Adirondack spruce.
Designed with comfort and precision in mind, this model includes chamfered body edges, a beveled armrest with a matching cutaway, and ultra-smooth Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold. Visually, the guitar is appointed to highlight the dramatic figuring of its four-piece Simons wedge Macassar ebony back and sides. Elegant details include an ebony Curve Wing bridge, smoky ebony fretboard, green abalone rosette with rosewood/maple/black purfling, Element fretboard and peghead inlays, coordinating top-edge trim, a full-gloss finish, and a Kona Edgeburst on the back and sides with a shaded edgeburst top.
