This distinctive tonewood is derived from Shamel ash trees that require removal from urban and municipal environments, making it an eco-conscious choice. Sonically, Urban Ash produces a response comparable to high-quality mahogany, characterized by a rich, woody warmth, strong fundamental notes, and minimal overtones for a clear and focused sound. Complementing this is a solid mahogany top, which naturally adds a touch of compression, ensuring exceptional tonal balance across all frequencies.
