The Martin D-X2E Molly Tuttle captures Molly’s unmistakable style and feel in a durable, road-worthy design built for real-world players. Modeled after her beloved 1943 D-18, this signature model introduces a fast, comfortable 1940s-inspired neck with a 1 11/16” nut width—making its debut in the X Series. A vintage sunburst top, custom oval tuner buttons, and moon phase inlays reflect Molly’s distinctive artistic touch. Figured mahogany HPL back and sides offer dependable performance in any climate, while a solid spruce top and scalloped X-bracing deliver clear, balanced articulation. Finished with nickel open-gear tuners, Martin E1 electronics, and a softshell case, the D-X2E brings Molly Tuttle’s player-focused design to a wider audience.
