Pre-Owned Custom Shop Martin OM — Engelmann Spruce / East Indian Rosewood / 1933 Ambertone
A Beautiful, Low-Mileage Martin Custom Shop OM
This is a particularly beautiful Martin Custom Shop OM, offered on consignment from its original owner. Built with an Engelmann Spruce top and beautifully figured East Indian Rosewood back and sides, this OM combines classic Martin craftsmanship with a slightly warmer, punchier tonal character.
The guitar is in exceptional condition for a pre-owned instrument. We normally hesitate to describe used guitars as “Mint,” but this one is very close. There is virtually no noticeable play wear, and the guitar shows every indication of having been exceptionally well cared for. This is a very low-mileage Martin Custom Shop guitar and a genuinely nice find.
The 1933 Ambertone top finish, Antique White binding, herringbone trim, and long-pattern abalone fingerboard inlay give this OM a distinctly vintage-inspired appearance, while the comfortable OM body and Modified Low Oval neck make it a joy to play.

✅ Our Expert Opinion
This is the kind of consignment guitar we really enjoy taking in. The combination of OM proportions, Engelmann Spruce and East Indian Rosewood gives this guitar a very appealing tonal personality—warm and expressive, yet with plenty of punch and clarity.
Visually, the guitar is equally impressive. The 1933 Ambertone finish and vintage-inspired appointments work beautifully with the OM body.
The original owner purchased this guitar new and is only selling it to help finance another Custom Shop order. It has been very lightly played and exceptionally well cared for.

✅ Tobias Music Insight
A Custom Shop Martin OM with Engelmann Spruce and East Indian Rosewood is a special combination. Engelmann tends to bring a warmer, more immediately responsive quality to the voice, while the Rosewood provides depth, richness and sustain. Add the scalloped 1/4” bracing and OM body, and you have a guitar that is equally at home with fingerstyle playing, flatpicking and general acoustic work.
And at this condition level, this is an especially appealing opportunity. A beautiful Martin Custom Shop guitar with virtually no play wear, without the wait and expense of ordering a new custom build.
