Blending premium tonewoods with an array of elegant shell accents, this cutaway Grand Auditorium strikes the perfect chord between sonic brilliance and refined aesthetics. Its striking black limba back and sides are matched with a sinker redwood top—sourced from mineral-rich riverbeds in California—offering a rich, complex voice with warm lows, sparkling highs, and a sweet, articulate midrange for a bold yet balanced tonal character.
Inside, V-Class bracing enhances volume, sustain, and intonation along the entire length of the slim, satin-finished mahogany neck. A full-body gloss finish, highlighted by a skillfully hand-sprayed shaded edgeburst on the back, sides, and neck, brings out the natural allure of these rare tonewoods.
For added comfort, a radiused ebony armrest eases the strumming experience, complemented visually by matching ebony details across the fretboard, peghead veneer, bridge, backstrap, tail strip, heel cap, and binding. Decorative shell elements include a single-ring paua rosette, paua edge trim, and purfling around the top, fretboard, and peghead, all capped off with stunning Island Vine inlays in paua and mother-of-pearl.
Rounding out the custom build are antique gold Gotoh 510 tuners with black buttons, ebony bridge pins inlaid with green Australian opal dots, ES2 electronics, and a deluxe brown hardshell case.
