The 50th Anniversary 614ce LTD pays homage to Bob Taylor’s earliest guitar designs with its maple and spruce tonewood pairing. Featuring a striking milky-hued transparent white finish, white edgeburst, and a rich gloss coat, this limited-edition cutaway Grand Auditorium makes a bold visual statement within the Taylor lineup. Its solid Sitka spruce top and figured Big Leaf maple back and sides produce a refined tonal character, blending a clear, vibrant midrange with inviting warmth. Enhanced by V-Class bracing, this guitar offers greater volume, sustain, and precise intonation across the neck, making it highly responsive to each player’s unique touch.
Beyond its distinctive trans white/edgeburst look, this model is adorned with faux tortoise body and soundhole binding, green abalone Wings inlays, a single-ring abalone rosette, and a mother-of-pearl peghead logo. As part of Taylor’s 50th Anniversary collection, it includes celebratory features such as gold tuning machines, ebony bridge pins with gold acrylic dots, and a commemorative interior label. Equipped with ES2 electronics, it comes shipped in a deluxe brown hardshell case.
