This 12-Fret Grand Concert is a truly unique instrument, blending rare and premium tonewoods with refined Art Deco styling. Its solid black limba back and sides are paired with a tight-grained sinker cypress top, sourced from long-submerged old-growth logs, producing clear trebles, warm lows, and a wide dynamic range. V-Class bracing inside enhances sustain, projection, and intonation along the entire neck. The body boasts a high-gloss finish with a hand-sprayed shaded edgeburst, extended to the satin-finished neck and windowpane shading around the cocobolo and ebony backstrip. Art Deco-inspired boxwood and cocobolo inlays adorn the Euro Deco fretboard, peghead, and single-ring rosette. Black/maple/black purfling outlines the top, rosette, and cocobolo-bound soundhole, complementing the cocobolo binding, heel cap, and ebony tuner buttons with cocobolo inlays. Taylor satin black tuners and an LR Baggs Element VTC pickup complete the package, which includes a brown deluxe hardshell case.
