Another gem for our Consignment Select Collection — an old-school Taylor 614ce in very nice condition for its 21 years. Built in 2004, it has aged beautifully. Yes, there are a few tiny dings and some faint surface scratches, but nothing that affects its structural integrity or playability. The neck angle is excellent, fret wear is minimal, and it’s ready for many more years of music.
Lovingly maintained by its original owner, this guitar delivers impressive tone, with a touch more low-end warmth than you might expect from maple. The spruce top has matured into a rich golden-brown hue. Outfitted with Taylor’s ES1 electronics and paired with its original hardshell case, it’s ready for the stage or the studio.
