Presenting The Windward Coast. This 12-string, 12-fret Grand Concert pairs striking aesthetics with exceptional tone and playability. Its solid quilted Big Leaf maple back and sides are matched with a Lutz spruce top, producing a shimmering octave response and a richly textured voice that reflects each player’s touch. The back showcases a four-piece design featuring a Simons wedge of beautifully bookmatched Hawaiian koa, framed with fine ebony detailing.
Finished in a full-body gloss, the guitar’s Trans Light Blue color graces the neck, sides, and back beyond the koa wedge, while the top is highlighted with a matching hue and a subtle blue shaded edgeburst. Inside, V-Class bracing enhances projection and sustain while creating greater harmonic balance across the fretboard. The compact body, slim maple neck, and shorter scale length provide an effortless feel with lower string tension, while the Florentine cutaway grants smooth access to higher frets.
Refined koa accents include a single-ring rosette, peghead veneer, heel cap, body and soundhole binding, and fretboard purfling. The fingerboard features Spiked Oval inlays crafted from koa and paua, complemented by a paua-trimmed peghead logo and edge detailing. Additional premium touches include Gotoh 510 antique gold mini tuners, a black TUSQ nut, and turquoise-dotted bridge pins. Outfitted with ES2 electronics, this custom build comes in a deluxe brown hardshell case.
