The Martin O’ahu® K-42 Hibiscus blends vintage inspiration with groundbreaking Martin craftsmanship. Inspired by the historic Kealakai body design, this limited-edition model features a unique K-sized 12-fret body paired with a 14-fret neck—marking the first design of its kind from Martin. The result is enhanced projection, articulation, and balance while preserving the deep, resonant voice that helped inspire the original Dreadnought.
Built with beautifully figured broad-flamed koa back and sides and topped with reclaimed spruce in a rich dark toasted burst finish, the K-42 Hibiscus delivers both exceptional tone and unmistakable visual appeal. Elegant hibiscus inlays, premium Style 42 appointments, Madagascar rosewood binding, and Waverly® tuners with Liquidmetal® bridge pins complete this luxurious collector-grade instrument.
Limited to only 100 guitars worldwide, the Martin O’ahu K-42 Hibiscus is a stunning fusion of heritage, innovation, and artistry.
