Introducing yet another extraordinary creation from the master luthiers at the Martin Custom Shop, this guitar is the fourth in our exclusive Colleen Collection. Crafted with meticulous care, each element has been hand-selected and expertly designed by our own custom shop specialist. The result is nothing short of breathtaking.
The top is made from premium Sitka spruce, carefully aged using Martin’s proprietary Vintage Tone System (VTS), which imparts a rich, golden-brown hue and enhances the tonal depth of the wood. This top is paired with an exquisite set of exotic Cocobolo wood, personally chosen by Ms. Colleen herself for its unique beauty and sound qualities. This same combination of woods was featured in our limited-edition 40th-anniversary models, which sold out swiftly, with all 28 guitars finding homes almost immediately.
The guitar is adorned with Flamed Maple binding, adding an elegant touch, and the intricate 45 Style border, along with hexagon fretboard inlays and top trim crafted from select abalone, elevates the instrument’s aesthetics to the highest level. A CF Martin Golden Era Block inlay on the headstock adds a timeless, classic touch that harks back to Martin’s rich heritage.
