The Martin CEO-11 is a visually stunning, limited-edition acoustic-electric guitar that exemplifies Martin’s signature blend of artistry and expert craftsmanship. Personally designed by President and CEO Thomas Ripsam, this Grand Auditorium (M) model showcases a multi-piece back and sides made from figured white oak, complemented by an FSC®-certified European spruce top. The result is a vibrant, resonant tone that’s both powerful and warm.
Its striking New Horizons blue burst top, contrasted by deep mahogany-colored sides, creates a bold aesthetic that mirrors the richness of its sound. Distinctive inlays—most notably a custom Unalome symbol on the headplate—add a personal, symbolic element that speaks to the journey of creative discovery. A two-piece flamed maple neck, European flamed maple binding, and scalloped spruce X bracing further enhance the guitar’s feel and tonal response. Outfitted with Fishman® Aura VT Blend electronics—custom-voiced to Thomas Ripsam’s specifications—the CEO-11 delivers outstanding amplified tone wherever you play.
The number 11, considered a “master number” representing creativity and intuition, inspired the model’s name and aligns with its artistic purpose: to support players in finding their authentic musical voice. Limited to just 1,111 guitars, each instrument comes with a blue paper label signed and numbered by Thomas, and a molded hardshell case. The CEO-11 is perfect for players who want to make a statement—both sonically and visually—while honoring Martin’s tradition of inspiring creativity.
