And now for something completely different. Taylor Guitars all new Gold Label 814e Hawaiian Koa paired with a torrified Sitka Spruce top. A fresh reinterpretation of Taylor’s iconic Grand Auditorium, the Super Auditorium is designed to deliver a uniquely warm, deep voice with a vintage-inspired character.
Crafted by Andy Powers to deliver a rich, vintage-inspired voice with warmth and power, the new Gold Label 814e Koa introduces a fresh sonic experience. This model debuts the Super Auditorium body shape, similar to the Grand Auditorium but with slightly wider contours, enhancing volume and low-end depth. Featuring Hawaiian koa back and sides paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, it offers remarkable midrange power and richness, complemented by the warmth and depth typically found in well-aged guitars.
Inside, a fanned variant of V-Class bracing boosts volume and sustain while preserving clarity, even at high dynamics. A newly designed long-tenon neck joint enhances resonance and allows for easy adjustability. Visually, the Gold Label 814e Koa stands out with its refined details, including Continental inlays, a new pickguard design, a Honduran rosewood bridge, grained ivoroid trim, and antique chrome Gotoh 510 tuners with ebony buttons. A full-body gloss finish highlights koa’s natural beauty.
Equipped with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics for high-fidelity amplified sound, this model comes with a deluxe hardshell case in a British Cocoa finish.

Building upon the versatility, balance, and clarity that define Bob Taylor’s Grand Auditorium, the Super Auditorium represents an evolution of that beloved design. Retaining the familiar curves and contours, this shape features a slightly longer body and a wider lower bout, enhancing depth and resonance while maintaining playability. Drawing inspiration from guitars of the 1930s and ’40s, it produces an open, blooming voice that fills a room with minimal effort yet gains power and warmth as you dig in. Inside, a specialized fanned V-Class bracing system further enhances sustain, volume, and pitch accuracy across the neck.
