One of the most creative guitars to ever come out of the Taylor factory. This rare and unique T5z was offered at the annual Taylor Custom Dealer Event in Anaheim, CA. Pretty cool guitar.
At the annual NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, Taylor Guitars hosts a private dealer Custom Event at The Catch restaurant in Anaheim. Every year, Taylor brings a ridiculous assortment of the finest custom guitars to come out of El Cajon. Only dealers who attend this private event are elito order these limited run guitars. This one is Custom Catch #19. One of only 15 guitars available worldwide. Though Taylor recently relocated the event to a larger venue, these guitars will forever be known at Catch Customs.
One of the most unique and detailed custom finishes ever attempted by Taylor. A stunning purpley-blue metallic paint job that changes color when viewed from different angles. It’s a chameleon. Purples, blues, reds, golds, browns, and slight hints of green. This guitar was very difficult to photograph, but we did our best to give you a true representation of the actual guitar. And honestly - it looks better in person. This one is ridiculous.

Our hybrid hollowbody T5z design is ripe for customization, and this model boasts a gorgeous hand-selected quilted Big Leaf maple top that sets it apart from the crowd. Custom appointments include black binding with green abalone top edge trim, Byzantine inlays in green abalone, bone bridge pins with green Australian opal dots, and a custom glossy Supernova Edgeburst finish.
