This blacktop American Dream Grand Pacific makes a striking first impression and backs it up with a serious musical punch. Made with solid walnut back and sides topped with spruce, this all-solid-wood guitar represents the resilience of Taylor’s commitment to meeting the needs of everyday musicians. Solid Walnut for warm, seasoned tone with greater presence in the midrange, while the spruce top adds clarity and articulation. It’s all punched up by the V-Class bracing under the hood, which optimizes the tonal output for greater volume, longer sustain, and ear-pleasing intonation up and down the neck. Aside from the sunburst top, a thin 2.0-mil matte layer combines a rootsy look with a responsive voice. Additional details include chamfered body edges, a single-ring rosette, 4mm dot fretboard inlays, and a flamed pickguard. It ships in a sturdy yet lightweight Taylor AeroCase.
