Awesome find. Very clean 1976 Ibanez with original case and case candy. Cool story. My parents sold this guitar originally when our shop opened in the mid-70’s. Local guy bought it, played it a little, then stashed it in his closet. Brought it back in to our shop, said he never really played guitar, and it was time to find a home for it. He still has my Mom’s original hand written receipt.
Guitar is in great shape. All original. A few minor nicks and dings, but overall, surprisingly great shape. No fret wear. Very low mileage.
Gold hardware is pitted, typical of a guitar this age. Gold hardware isn’t worn, it’s just old. Pancake body, beautiful wine red color.
Still has original warranty and guitar care pamphlet as well as original key for case and original adjustment tools. Plus a cool Ibanez sticker on the case.
One noticeable ding on cutaway (shown in pictures) the rest are very minor. Guitar will be completely set-up by our gold-level techs before shipping.
