The D-X1 Black is an affordable Dreadnought acoustic guitar with a striking all-black finish. Its top, back, and sides are constructed from high-pressure laminate (HPL), offering durability without compromising the classic Martin tone. This sleek addition to the X Series features playability enhancements, including a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge, refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour for a smooth playing experience. Its iconic and versatile body size delivers a loud, projective sound with strong bass, suitable for genres ranging from folk and bluegrass to rock and country. The guitar also includes chrome closed-gear tuning machines, a birch laminate neck with a Richlite® fingerboard, and a herringbone pattern around the rosette.
