The SE Hollowbody Standard Piezo features a fully hollow, all-mahogany body that delivers a rich, resonant tone. Equipped with 58/15 LT “S” pickups and a versatile LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system, this guitar allows players to seamlessly blend electric and acoustic sounds in a single instrument. Key features include a 22-fret wide fat neck, bone nut, and an adjustable PRS Piezo stoptail bridge.
Designed with two separate volume controls (for magnetic and piezo systems) and dual output jacks (magnetics and mix/piezo), the guitar offers flexible routing options. Players can use the “Mix/Piezo” output to blend electric and acoustic tones using the onboard volume controls. Alternatively, they can connect each output separately—sending the magnetic signal to a traditional amp and the piezo signal to an acoustic amp or direct input. Notably, when using only the magnetic output, the piezo battery is bypassed entirely, ensuring the electric pickups remain functional even if the piezo battery is drained.
