All solid Sinker Mahogany, one of the most prized tonewoods in the industry. With supplies of this wood dwindling, this is your chance to own one of the last sinker Mahogany guitars to come out of Nazareth, PA for the foreseeable future.
Sure, we have built many ultra-high end Martins over the years. But we chose an understated look to this one. No bling, thought the ‘Jeff Tweedy’ Burst makes for a dramatic look. We decided to let the wood do the talking on this one. Beautifully grained Sinker Mahogany with hints of flame. The shaded top makes it look fairly similar to Koa. It’s gorgeous. But that tone…..rich and warm, with just a hint of sparkle. It’s a gem. Considering the scarcity of Sinker Mahogany, this custom guitar is priced well. And the tone is worth a million.
