R. Taylor Guitars: R. Taylor is a stand-alone division of the Taylor Guitar Company.  They produce a small number of hand built guitars annually through a relatively small dealer network.  The R. Taylor dealers are hand-picked because of their knowledge, skill, and commitment to selling guitars of this caliber.  These guitars represent the highest level of quality guitar building in the world!  We are proud to have been selected as the exclusive R. Taylor dealer for Illinois!  Stop in and try these magnificent guitars!  (Check "Dad's Chalkboard" for current stock.)  Arrived recently, a rare feathered rosewood model! (SORRY SOLD) But a Koa cutaway just in!

Martin Performing Artist Series:   The folks at Martin Guitars introduced for 2010 a new series, their "Performing Artist" guitars!  These wonderful instruments were designed with the performer in mind.   There are three shapes, Dreadnought, Auditorium (pictured here), and Concert each equipped with the latest and least obtrusive Fishman system featuring full tonal control and a tuner.  These guitars merit a visit to Tobias Music and a trial strum!

Taylor Mahogany BTO:   When our Taylor Regional Manager, Mike, comes for a visit, he always brings along something special for Tobias Music.  On his last visit, he brought us a stunning Mahogany B.T.O. guitar.  It has a mahogany back, side, and top and an armrest and exquisite "Cindy" inlay.  One of our customers played the guitar and said that it sounded "chocolatey."  An apt description!  Stop in to see this one!
